Sarah Pendergast, M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner, Speech Therapist

Sarah Pendergast, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a play-based and child-led speech-language pathologist (SLP) who believes children learn best when they are having fun! With her dedicated and gentle approach, Sarah creates an engaging and nurturing environment centered around the child's strengths and interests. She can't wait to give you the tools to help your child make gains along their communication journey.

Sarah has over 8 years of experience in the field specializing in early intervention and helping late talkers and their caregivers. Sarah has experience collaborating with occupational therapists, physical therapists and various early interventionists and child care providers. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from American Speech-Language Hearing-Association (ASHA) and a license from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.

Sarah is a proud Florida State University graduate (Go Noles!) with degrees in Communication Science & Disorders and Child Development. She enjoys visiting theme parks with her husband, singing in the car, cruising, gardening, volunteering at the local performing arts center and spending time with her family, friends and cat named Toby.

Awesome Kids Therapy believes in individualized and high quality services; as a result, we are a private pay organization. We are considered out of network with all insurance companies. We are happy to submit a superbill upon request.
